Hello!
We are Emily and Nate, destination wedding photographers.
Being wedding photographers allows us to relive the emotions of our own wedding day over and over! We honestly leave a wedding, at the end of the night, giddy! All of the reasons that we got married in the first place, flood back and our commitment is renewed. There is little that can compare with spending the day with a newly married couple. The energy, excitement and devotion is contagious!
Ten RANDOM things about Nate:
- I play the bagpipes. Yes, I have worn a kilt.
- I was raised in Southern California.
- My degree is in Sociology.
- I know the words to way too many songs. U2 and Dave Mathews are my favorite.
- My dream car is a Chelby Cobra.
- Yo hablo Español.
- I can whistle like a bird.
- I have an iFart application on my iPod and I absolutely love it. Hours of entertainment! (Don’t worry. I never bring it to weddings.)
- I secretly want to be Jason Bourne.
- I have an unnatural addiction to sweet foods. Maple syrup can go on just about anything, and make it taste better.
Ten RANDOM things about Emily:
- I can lick my elbow. Someone told me it was impossible and I had to prove them wrong.
- Growing up, my nearest neighbor was a half mile away.
- My degree is in Public Relations.
- I love vegetables. A lot.
- In high school I was on a ballroom dance team. I dream about being on Dancing With The Stars, but I am not a star so that probably won’t happen.
- I am from a family of 11. What!
- For some reason, I can’t follow recipes. I have to do it my own way…not always good results.
- My dreams are very vivid and involved. There are whole novels floating around in there.
- I am VERY afraid of heights. You won’t ever catch me sky diving.
- I love to travel. I hope to visit Australia very soon!
How we met?
Nate and I met at church while I was visiting my parents between college semesters. Love at first sight? Not quite (funny story we can tell you later)…but it only took a month and a half of dating before Nate asked me to marry him. And, as you might have guessed, I said YES. Now, we have three little girls that keep us busy.
