Not to shabby for an Idaho February! It might have been a little cold in the shade, but for walking around in the beginning of February, it wasn’t bad.

Kenneth and Rachael are our first couple getting married in 2012. It is coming up fast and we are so excited for them. Enjoy this sneak peek of their Engagement Session!

We had so much fun this weekend with Shawnee and Max! They are so cute together! We went to Mesa Falls for a fun engagement session.  It was beautiful.  The leafs are about to turn but are not quite there yet.  It had been a long time for all of us since we had been there last. If you haven’t been there in a while, you should go! It is beautiful right now.  Much like this adorable couple.

Meet Emily! Our super cute senior rep. from Hillcrest High School. Not only is she adorable, she also volunteers her time to service in the community.  That makes her the PERFECT senior rep.

We had a great time photographing her and can’t wait to post some of our other senior reps from the class of 2012!

Nate and I have know Jody for a while.  When she started dating Jeff we were so happy.  Jeff is such a great guy! Congratulations Jody and Jeff.  We are so glad you found each other!

I pushed the window open and for the first time in months, a warm breeze came pushing across my face.  Winter seemed to last forever. It usually does in Idaho. When 65 degree weather comes, it is greeted with shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops.  Idahoans celebrate 60 degree weather. Today was in the 70′s.

All day I have listened to birds chirping and kids playing through the window. I have felt the sun against my skin and the AC blowing through my hair! I LOVE SUMMER! Another reason I love summer, aside from the obvious reasons of course, is Senior Portraits!

While spending the week at Elite Studios, we had the chance to do some more creative shots of the ballet students.  They were amazing! I hope you girls had as much fun as we did!

I recently had the opportunity to do another photoshoot for My Taylor Made’s Etys Shop.  Her cloths are so cute and comfortable for kids to wear.  Shannon is a fashion design major and loves using her talent to not only make adorable clothes for her own children, but to create patterns and clothing for others to enjoy!  Check out her shop HERE.

While we were in California for our Christmas vacation, we had the opportunity of meeting up with some local SoCal photographers for a model shoot.  There is a group called the SoCal Photog Shootout that gets together every few months to do a themed model shoot.  It is great education and an awesome opportunity to meet more friends!  If you are interested in finding out more about it, you can go to www.photogshootout.com/socal

Nate and I had so much fun!  It was definitely different than what we normally do, but it was refreshing at the same time.  Going to this made me want to plan my own photog get together!  There may be one coming in the near future…
