She scoured the wedding blogs, paced every craft store within a fifty mile radius, and went through countless bridal magazines to find the perfect center piece. He endured three hours of tasting butter-cream frosting, finger food with hard-to-pronounce names, and fifteen variations of cheesecake (which all tasted the same after the third piece, btw). But when the big day came, she didn’t pay attention to the centerpieces — she had other things on her mind. He didn’t get to taste any of the food he helped select — the receiving line was far too long.
No need to worry, those hours were not wasted. Long after the food is all eaten and the flowers have wilted, they will still have the pictures. Those pictures are a memory, a testament…to the time, energy, creativity, and love that couple spent working out the details of their perfect wedding day.
